Spring at Garda Lake
The period between May and June, the lake shows its best, full of colors, flowers and perfumes. The air fresh for long walks on the slopes of the hills in the south and the mountains in the north. Time for long walking among the silver olive groves, to lay down on the green meadows and enjoy nature with the beauty of flowers in full bloom.
The splendor of the flowers at this time of the year develop their full beauty, we recommend a trip to the The Garden Park Sigurtà, south of Peschiera or to the Botanical Garden André Heller in Gardone or a further suggestion to the Botanical Garden of Novezzina of Monte Baldo. The Monte Baldo has been called in the past as Hortus Europa '- the garden of Europe-and has been visited and admired by naturalists and botanists from all over the world. Here are endemic floral species, named baldensis: as the name suggests, this species have been discovered for the first time on Monte Baldo and can only be found here - especially orchids. In addition to these types of flowers there are also medicinal and aromatic plants
